So many webmaster scratch their heads when they see ad placements like on this page.

How can you really be sure that this ad is ok with the TOS of Google Adsense if you plan to do like them? Just because some other webmaster got away with it does not mean you will get away with it. Do not trust other webmaster when they say they their website is ok with this, if you want to keep your Adsense intact then write to Google Adsense and ask them.
It does not work to report the ads in questions and wait for an answer they will not answer you they will say thinking for reporting and that’s it. You need to send a separate email to there customer support and ask them

I got this reaction when I showed the ads to some of my fellow members in the DP forum.

1) Upper adsense box. There’s a picture to the right, which is against TOS.
2) Right adsense block. Strictly against TOS (use of images to ‘mask’ ads).
3) Link unit above the comments. Strictly against TOS (use of images to ‘mask’ ads).
