If you have not noticed it Google Analytics has a new code for your website. If you have a WordPress blog you want to install the new code trough a plug in but the old WordPress plug in does not work. They only working for the old code where you just enter a number.

My poor Google Blog has gone down from PR3 to PR2 this week. I thought I would go up since I have so many posts. I have almost 1000 pages and that should count for something.
I started of with PR3 and then I was down to PR0 with no reason and then back to PR3 and no I am down to PR2 I have no idea why.
I had a slight idea that I sold to many reviews on my site but then Loren Baker said in his blog that it should be ok to do it.
He listed with others things like Adsense that I know are ok.
If anybody knows why in Google’s name I have fallen from the sky’s please let me know
Google PageRank is down and webmasters around the world is going crazy. My sites are showing a PageRank of 0 and/or N/A and other sites that have 6 in PR before is now down to 0 as well.

A good way to get link to your site without buying them is to link with people that have similar interest as you. They will hopefully return the favor and you will create a link network. I had a problem last week when I wanted to search for similar sites but I also wanted to know what PageRank they had before I asked them for a link. If I only have scrap blogs with a PageRank of Zero then my ranking would still be the same so I needed higher ranked pages.
I search for “find search with pagerank” and “how to find sites with PageRank” but i gave up and asked in DP forum.

That blog description really does suck big time and I need to change it. Also saw that despite all the back links I have in my WordPress admin only 10 is register in Google and maybe explains my low PageRank.
You can get an email with the latest trend for your website emailed to you if you like but then you have to become a paying member. For me the free version of Url Trends is totally ok.
So when do you think the next PageRank update from Google is going to come? According to my calculation it will come in January 2008 but since this one was way of base we do not know what Google is thinking.
All I know is that people that sold link, like link directories have been punished for selling link based on their PageRank alone. Google has not penalized the normal directories but just the once with high PageRank making a buck of a PR 6 or higher.
Some of them have been kicked down to PR 4 or PR 3 and you can not sell link on that because that’s kind of normal.
When do you think the next PageRank is going to come?
I never paid much attention to my Robot text in my WordPress blog before but since my domains did not move one bit in the latest PageRank last week I thought it was time to do something about it.
I found this nice already finished Robot.txt on the WordPress instruction home page and I learned a whole deal.
I did not know before that Robot.txt could play such an big impact on my Page Ranking before.
If you have the blog on the domain index then you should put this Robot.txt on your WordPress blog as because Google told you so.
Small things can you server and blog move faster please the people visitng your site and making them stay longer and come back for more.
Nothing is more boring then a slow website and you often close it before it has time to load to 100 %.
When you links in the site like the contact us page or home page then always do a slash “/” after the urls. So if I would like to do have a faster site here (oops!) then I should add slash behind the url www.googleandme.com/
Maybe you not need to change all your old sites but in the future it will let the server know it is a website and not something else you are clicking and that’s why it goes faster.
